Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026 · Applies to caloffers.com

The short version. We run our own advertising campaigns to find California homeowners who want to sell. When a homeowner contacts us, we collect their contact details and property information and we sell that information to real estate investors on this marketplace. If you are a California resident, you can ask us to stop — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

1. Who we are

CalOffers ("CalOffers", "we", "us") operates caloffers.com, a marketplace where real estate investors purchase motivated-seller leads that we generate through our own advertising funnels and phone lines. For questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@caloffers.com or on Telegram at @caloffers.

2. Whose information we handle

This policy covers two different groups:

  • Property sellers (leads). Homeowners who respond to our advertising and submit their details through our landing pages, forms or phone calls.
  • Buyers (platform users). Investors and wholesalers who create an account here to browse and purchase leads.

3. What we collect and why

CategoryExamplesWhy we collect it
Seller identifiers Name, phone number, email address, property address, ZIP code To create the lead listing and deliver it to the investor who purchases it
Property & situation details Property type, condition, repairs needed, occupancy, timeline, reason for selling, asking price To describe the opportunity to potential buyers
Buyer account data Email, name, profile photo (if you sign in with Google), password hash, Telegram ID if you verify To operate your account, authenticate you and provide support
Payment data Card details are entered on and stored by Stripe — we never receive or store card numbers. We keep the amount, date and result of each transaction. To process purchases and balance top-ups
Technical data IP address, browser/user agent, session cookie, security logs To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law

Where seller information comes from

We collect seller information directly from the seller — through our own landing pages, web forms, and inbound or outbound calls run by our in-house media buying team. We do not purchase consumer lists from third-party data vendors.

4. We sell personal information

We want to be direct about this, because California law requires it and because it is the core of our business: we sell seller leads — which are personal information — to third-party buyers (real estate investors) on this marketplace. When an investor purchases a lead, they receive the seller's name, phone number, email address and property address.

We do not sell or share buyer account information. We do not sell the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16 years of age.

5. Who else receives data

  • Purchasing investors — receive the full contact details of leads they buy.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, database, security and bot protection.
  • Google — optional sign-in.
  • Telegram — optional account verification and notifications.
  • Law enforcement or regulators — where required by law.

6. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, its sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
  • Limit our use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring this option).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise a right, email privacy@caloffers.com with the phone number or email address you gave us. We verify requests by matching the information you provide against our records, and we respond within 45 days (extendable by another 45 days where permitted). An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.

7. How long we keep data

Lead records are retained while they are listed and for a period afterwards to honor our buyer guarantee, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Buyer account records are kept while the account is open and afterwards as required for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Security logs are kept for a limited period.

8. Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, admin access supports two-factor authentication, and administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

9. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, and Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site.
